Dun Flodigarry is an independent,family-run hostel in the North end of the Isle of Skye, which has been welcoming visitors since 1992.
We have 29 beds sleeping 30. We have a mix of dorm beds, twin rooms, family rooms and a double room. We also have a self catering twin bed flat.
We have a very large open plan kitchen and dining/sitting area, a drying room and laundry facilities and of course free WiFi in public areas. We have ample parking and a electric vehicle charging point. We encourage guests to recycle and compost and generate our own electricity via a wind turbine.
There is a small shop at our reception for basic breakfast/food items and snacks. We can provide lots of info about the local area especially walks. There is also a small camping lawn for tents. And the bus passes right by our road end several times a day.
We are ideally situated for walking the Skye trail and the Quiraing. Come and enjoy our fabulous sea views.

We have always been run by family members. Gavin and Annabelle, Neil and Peggy, Lachie and of course Bryan who is usually the friendly and very knowledgeable face at reception. We know lots about the local area and many walks and are more than happy to chat about almost anything most of the time. Bryan and Neil are always out walking in their spare time and are happy to give advice.
