Heart of Glencoe Holidays, previously known as Glencoe Independent Hostel is owned and run by outdoor enthusiasts Cat and Phil and their young family. It's set in a fantastic location in its own grounds at the foot of historic and dramatic Glencoe.
We’re perfectly located for those seeking accommodation on a budget and who want to explore the west coast of the Scottish Highlands.
Glencoe really is one of the most iconic and memorable places you’ll visit in Scotland and whilst you are here you can explore the mountains, glens, forests and waterfalls – it’s a wonderful playground for those who love the great outdoors!
Family Friendly Accommodation
The accommodation at Heart of Glencoe Holidays comprises of our Alpine Bunkhouse sleeping up to 16 in 3 bedrooms, plus 1 self-contained Cottage, with open fireplace, 4 modern static caravans and 3 log cabins, all with decks and stunning views. We are able to offer private and family rooms. We can cater for individual travellers and large groups alike.
You can expect a friendly welcome at any time of the year and our top class drying room is always available.

Cat and Phil took over Heart of Glencoe in September 2024, to embrace the rural lifestyle and bring up their 2 young children somewhere with easy access to nature. They enjoy exploring the local area for family-friendly walks and adventures, as well as climbing the local mountains.
